About Me

Hi, I'm Hannah

A.K.A the lap to lay in around here (photo evidence included). I grew up in central Virginia with a big family including three younger sisters. I currently work for a (human) radiology clinic as well as part time at an emergency veterinary hospital. My favorite non-animal hobbies include reading and creative makeup. However, like most dedicated animal lovers I spend much of my time with my pets or hoping someone brings them up so I can talk about them more.

I have always been enamored with animals and caring for them, but dogs turned into a special interest for me after I got my first personal pet, Julien. I am a person who obsessively researches, so I soon found myself spending hours reading articles and watching videos online about dogs. I have learned so much in these few years, and I am constantly working to expand my knowledge in many areas, including canine health, training, fitness, grooming, nutrition, and reproduction.

About My Program

Parent Dog Health Tests: All of the dogs to be used in my program are at minimum tested to meet all breed-specific requirements to obtain a Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) certification number through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). I also perform genetic testing to ensure puppies are not at risk of any breed-relevant disease.

Waitlist: If you have decided I am the breeder for you, please contact me. To obtain a spot on my waitlist, you will pay a $500.00 Application Fee.  When I have a litter, those on my waitlist wanting a puppy from that litter will pay a $500.00 Reservation Fee to hold a puppy until it is old enough to go home. These fees are non-refundable, but may be transferrable with my approval and will always be deducted from the final purchase price of a puppy.

AKC Registration: All of the puppies produced by my program are registerable with the American Kennel Club (AKC). Companion (pet) puppies will come with limited AKC registration. Some puppies may be sold on full registration as show/breeding prospects to approved established breeding programs. For aspiring breeders, puppies may be sold on a co-ownership basis with both of us on paperwork. For local guardian homes, AKC registration will remain in my name.

Policies: I require every puppy sold have a contract in place. This protects me as the breeder, you as the buyer, and most importantly, the animal involved. I do offer multiple health guarantees for congenital and genetic health conditions. I also offer title incentives of $50- $100 per competitive title for a maximum of $500 per puppy. Puppies must either be returned to me or rehomed to an approved home with my permission if the buyer is no longer able to keep them. I require that male companion puppies be neutered between 12-30 months of age, female companion puppies be spayed after 1-4 heats, and breeding prospects have health clearances.  Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns regarding my policies and/or contracts.
